Application Deadlines for Fall 2018
All materials must be received in our offices by the following dates.
|PROGRAM – COHORT||PRIORITY DEADLINE||FINAL DEADLINE||ONLINE APPLICATION|
|LS02 – Online||March 31, 2018||July 2, 2018||Online application|
Submit the Online Application
In order to submit your online application, you will be required to pay a $55 non-refundable application fee via debit/credit card.
Do not submit a CSU Mentor online application. The CSU Mentor Online application is for CSUN on-campus programs only.
Note that the online application used for the LS program is a general application used by all programs in the Tseng College. Some of the questions on the application may not be directly applicable to the LS program (e.g., questions about transferrable undergraduate units; questions about family income) but are questions required by the state or federal government. Answering these questions with a “Decline to State” response will not negatively impact your application to this program in any way.
Please send your original/sealed official academic records/transcripts from any/all academic institutions you have attended in the past. Do not open transcripts before forwarding them to CSUN.
Send all of your transcripts in ONE PACKAGE directly to the exact address below. Using other CSUN addresses will result in your application not being received at the correct location and can delay the application process thus omitting your application from the pool of complete, on-time applications.
All transcripts must be received at CSUN by the application deadline. No exceptions will be made. It will be the responsibility of the student to verify the status update of received application materials.
International students and students with international coursework
The following is required of all undergraduate applicants with coursework completed outside the United States and who have not attended schools at the secondary level or above for at least three years full time where English is the principal language of instruction.
Activate your CSUN online access and check your CSUN email account regularly.
You should receive an email from Admissions, Registration, and Client Services with your CSUN User ID/Username, initial password, and CSUN email address roughly one week after submission of your application. Your CSUN email account serves as your official email account with the University. This means that the University will use it for official communications and you are responsible for monitoring this account. All updates on your application status will be sent to your CSUN email account only.
More information about activating your account is available in the online application to this program.
IMPORTANT NOTE TO APPLICANTS: All communications between CSUN staff/faculty and potential or actual applicants to our programs are treated as part of the overall application processes and may be considered in making appropriate admissions decision to any CSUN program.
