Alongside other nursing professionals, you’ll learn how to:

  • Promote safe, high-quality care for diverse patient populations and communities
  • Lead organizational changes in hospitals and clinics
  • Educate and train a new generation of nurses
  • Craft and implement policies that promote patient advocacy
  • Develop an infrastructure that leads to improved and cost-efficient health outcomes

Course work includes lectures, classroom activities, online modules, simulations and clinical practice rotation.

Earn your national certification.

When you finish the program, you’ll qualify to sit for the National League of Nursing Education Certification Exam, which certifies you as Nurse Educator (CNE). This designation is attractive to employers nationwide – and, combined with your master’s, will help you stand apart in today’s highly competitive market.

Prepare for practice at the highest level.

Gain valuable clinical experience.

Outside your classes, you’ll engage in important clinical fieldwork. Offered in a variety of health care settings, at a location near you, this hands-on practice is critical to your development as a nurse educator and serves as a necessary compliment to academic study.
