Application Instructions

STEP 1

Submit an online SAC application:

  • Program Application Fee must be paid when submitting the online application. This fee is non-refundable.
  • Visit the program requirements page for information about documents required to be submitted at the time of the online application
  • If you have any questions/concerns and/or unable to attach required documents to the application, please email us at sac@csun.edu.
STEP 2

See After Applying instructions to complete the following and receive an acceptance packet:

  • Set up a CSUN account by activating your CSUN username and password,
  • Make an online Program Tuition payment.

IMPORTANT: Program tuition must be received in full and successfully posted on the student’s account before a Form I-20 will be issued.

STEP 3

Applicant will receive ONE SAC Admission Letter in their acceptance packet, along with a Form I-20

STEP 4

Review the visa requirements and related information page for visa requirements, essential documents, steps, and other important information.

STEP 5

Attend orientation and classes. See Upon Arrival to the US.

Housing Application Instructions

STEP 1

You will need your CSUN username and password to login. Please contact the Tseng College Admissions, Registration and Client Services (ARC) Office at iep@csun.edu if you have any questions or trouble with your CSUN username and password.

Note: The IPP Housing Office communicates primarily by email. Therefore, please be sure to provide your primary email address on your Housing and Meal Plan Application.

STEP 2

The cost of housing will depend on the academic term selected. The cost of IPP housing for each term is indicated in Part 2 of the Housing and Meal Plan Application.

Paying the housing fee via the myNorthridge Portal.

Payments can be made by logging into the myNorthridge Portal using your CSUN username and password. Select Pay Account Balance, select housing charges, and choose between the three options of payment method:

  • Credit Card: Visa or MasterCard only
  • Electronic Check: Use your routing and checking account number. Cashier checks cannot be used.
  • International Wire Transfer: You will be prompted to select your currency and country. Print payment instructions. Complete payment at your local bank or with online banking using the printed instructions. For more information on International Wire Transfer, please see our guide.
STEP 3

Confirmation of your housing space will be sent to you via e-mail after you have submitted the online IPP Housing and Meal Plan Application and payment in full.

Homestay Organizations

The IPP does not endorse any homestay organization or company. Here is a list of homestay organizations that have experience serving international students.
