(April 2, 2014) - Executives from two major event ticketing, management and promotion companies gave a dynamic presentation to a CSUN class about the growing use of mobile technology, aps and social media to drive concert sales and engage fans.

Gary Schmale, vice president of Ticketmaster and Mark Mayerson, vice president of CrowdTorch by CVent told a packed classroom in the Master of Arts in Music Industry Administration program how promotional efforts engage millions of fans in a tech-driven world.

A new scholarship program for CSUN students who advocate for people with disabilities launches this fall, thanks to a $10,000 donation by Jennifer Kalfsbeek-Goetz, Tseng College's assistant dean; and her husband, attorney and mediator Jack Goetz.

The get-together drew dozens of representatives from businesses, nonprofits, education and other organizations throughout the local area.

(March 12, 2014) - The Tseng College invites the public to an information session for CSUN's Master of Arts in Music Industry Administration program, March 24, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the campus University Club - Orange Grove Bistro. The Tseng College collaborates with CSUN's Mike Curb College of Arts, Media and Communication and College of Business and Economics for this degree, which focuses on producing, distributing and promoting music.

(NORTHRIDGE, June 26, 2013) - California State University, Northridge reaches more than 5,400 miles away to Japan when the Intensive English Program travels to Tokyo Oct. 6-11 to meet Japanese students, university representatives and international agencies to promote CSUN.
