CSUN welcomes  65 students from International Business School Americas (IBS) in Sao Paulo, Brazil! They are in the U.S. for a short-term business program from January 6-23, 2020.  Students hailing from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, France, Mexico, Peru and Spain will take a three-week series of classes focusing on communication, design, digital companies, e-business and innovation.   

The shortage of registered nurses is expected to grow in California, and CSUN is helping to meet that challenge with its Accelerated Bachelor of Science Nursing (ABSN) program.  Over 100 attendees packed into a Nov. 7 information session at Kurland Hall to find out about the intensive 15-month program.   The degree not only focuses on individual, family and group health but also includes clinical placements that give students hands-on experience.

Congrats to Master of Public Health grad Angela Oakley for earning the highest mark on the 2018 Certified Health Education Specialist Exam! She scored first out of more than 1,700 registered candidates. The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC) administers the exam, a prestigious indicator of competence for health education specialists.
