(August 10, 2015) - When Kelvi Oliveira traveled from Sao Paulo, Brazil to enroll as a Semester at CSUN student, he never dreamed he would spend the summer working with the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator (LACI). LACI has a satellite office at CSUN that advises new clean energy start-ups, and invited the industrial engineering student to a summer internship.

(Oct. 13, 2014) - California State University, Northridge's Tseng College looks forward to the annual Innovation for Success Conference Oct. 17-19 at the Airtel Plaza Hotel in Van Nuys. The W. Edwards Deming Institute collaborates with CSUN for the conference, with presenters including Harry Hellenbrand, CSUN provost and vice president of academic affairs; and representatives of government agencies and businesses.
(Sept. 16, 2014) - The Tseng College hosted a reception to celebrate a new initiative that connects the research and knowledge of CSUN with CleanTech LA. The event included business displays as well as presentations by university and local officials to highlight the campus collaboration. CleanTech LA serves as a nonprofit hub for a coalition of education and business entities dedicated to "clean energy" for the Greater Los Angeles area.
(July 18, 2014) - Congratulations to CSUN accountancy professor Rafi Efrat for recognition by the California Society of Certified Public Accountants with the 2014 Outstanding Educator Award. The award recognizes full-time college accounting educators for leadership, teaching excellence and contributions to accounting education.

Congratulations to Lyndon Dunbar, a student in the Tseng College's master of science in Assistive Technology Studies and Human Services (ATHS) program, a recipient of the new Jane Small Scholarship for Advocates for People with Disabilities.
Jennifer Kalfsbeek-Goetz, the Tseng College's assistant dean of program development, and her husband Jack Goetz, academic lead for the Tseng College's certificate in Mediation and Conflict Resolution, established the scholarship, which launched this spring with two awards of $1,000 each to CSUN students.
