The Advancing Student Achievement Program (ASAP) serves former CSUN students in the following categories:
Academically Disqualified CSUN Students
If you are currently on academic disqualification, you are eligible to enroll in classes through ASAP to meet academic requirements and possibly apply for readmission.
How to Get Started
Former CSUN Students will not need to create a new account. To enroll, you will log into myNorthridge Portal, and use your CSUN user ID and password. If you need help accessing your account, please contact CSUN IT for assistance.
For CSUN students who have been disqualified:
As a disqualified student, before you can enroll, you will need to make appointment with the Associate Dean of the college of your major to discuss your plans for readmission.
After meeting with the Associate Dean or their delegate, you should have identified courses to start you on the path to rentry. As a result of this meeting, you will receive guidance on how to get permission numbers to add classes.
ASAP students are required to obtain and use a permission number to enroll themselves in any course on a space available basis.
Wait List
The CSUN wait list feature is not available for ASAP students. This feature is only designed for current CSUN students.
Important:
- CSUN students who are currently admitted and enrolled in a degree or certificate program are not eligible to enroll in courses through ASAP.
- Only those who are not currently admitted and enrolled in a degree or certificate program at CSUN, are eligible.
- The ASAP program cannot serve disqualified CSUN international students who require an I-20 to reenter or remain in the U.S.
For limits on degree-applicable credits, see: Applying Credit to a CSUN Degree.
