Students can also use the Oviatt Library, Student Health Center, Student Recreation Center (for a small fee), swimming pools, and many other university facilities.

How do I get started?

Before enrolling in the program, you must take either:

  • the TOEFL exam and receive a score of 50, or
  • the IELTS exam and receive a score of 5.0.

Note: If you do not feel prepared to take the exam, CSUN’s Intensive English Program (IEP) might be a better option for you.

On-Campus Housing for International Programs and Partnerships (IPP) Students

IPP CSUN Housing offers convenient, apartment-style accommodations that provide visiting students with the opportunity to live in the same on-campus community with regular university students. Students in on-campus housing become familiar with the campus more quickly, meet other students more easily and take part in the many social and recreational activities organized by both IPP Housing and CSUN housing.
