Full tuition and fee payments for each term, including outstanding balances, are due no later than 24 hours prior to the Self-Support Session Start Date for all self-support degree and certificate cohort programs. [Note that the Radiologic Technology Certificate Programs, Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Fieldwork Experience, and Master of Science in Taxation have alternate start dates.] Students must clear all enrollment holds in order to be enrolled by the deadline, and payment in full must be received by the deadline to avoid incurring a $50 late fee. The late fee does not apply to students with enough anticipated financial aid, waivers and/or sponsorships to cover the tuition and fee balances.

Re-enrollment into the subsequent term of a cohort happens automatically for all students who do not have holds on their account. Students are automatically enrolled in each term until the end of the cohort program. Students are eligible to request a tuition refund only if the respective Tseng College Program Management staff receives notification of such per the process outlined in the SIRPAF (registration agreement), i.e. written notification of the student's intent to withdraw, via email from the student's CSUN email address, by the Deadline to Withdraw. Students requesting to withdraw after this deadline may be responsible for tuition fees up to and including all courses for that term.

As a reminder, the following DO NOT constitute a withdrawal:

  • not attending
  • not paying
  • not self-enrolling
  • notifying an instructor
  • receiving withdrawal advice from an instructor

A withdrawal must be requested in writing from the Tseng College Program Management staff prior to the following deadlines:
