| This course is designed exclusively for students enrolled in the Certificate of Advanced Professional Development Program in Perioperative Nursing. The coursework includes classroom lectures, online modules, simulations, clinical practice, and classroom activities. VIRTUAL CLASS SESSIONS: Synchronous (live) Virtual Class sessions will be held weekly, and attendance is required. The sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings, 6 pm to 9 pm PT. SIMULATION LAB: All students will attend the Simulation Lab on the CSUN campus for three (3) consecutive Saturdays. CLINICAL PRACTICE: All students will complete 12 clinical hours with a preceptor each week in weeks 4-8 at a facility of their choice (or one the department assists them in finding). | ||
