Graduate students also gain access to all campus facilities and services, including the Student Recreation Center, Klotz Student Health Center, University Library, The Soraya Center of Performing Arts, intramural sports and over 300 student clubs. International students also have an opportunity to work on campus to help pay for expenses; part-time (up to 20 hours per week) during the semester, and full-time (20+ hours per week) during summer and winter breaks. Certain graduate students can work as Teaching Assistants, generally starting in the second or third semester of attendance.

Housing & Residential Life

CSUN Student Housing offers three types of housing options ideally suited for the various members of our student population. The Suites at University Park are exclusively for incoming freshman. The Apartments at University Park are for a combination of incoming freshman, returning undergraduates and graduate students. The Apartments at University Village (family housing) are for students with dependents, children, a spouse or partner.

Convenience, safety, academic assistance and constant support are built into Student Housing. Check out the following videos to get an up-close look at CSUN housing.

Space is limited, and fills up fast, so students are encouraged to apply early. Applications are processed on a first come first served basis. A waitlist will be established for applications received after all housing spaces are filled. Offers will be made to waitlisted students as space becomes available.

To apply for CSUN on-campus housing, complete and submit an online application.

Note: CSUN username and password is required for application login.
