Courses

The Tseng College offers numerous courses starting at various times, in different locations and online. Select a link on the left to view our list of courses in whatever way you find most convenient for the time period or subject matter of interest.

Information about registering, payment of fees, withdrawals, refunds, cancellations, grades, exams, etc., can be found under the Registration tab above.

In addition to the classes offered by The Tseng College, anyone may take regular university degree or credit courses via Open University without having to apply to CSUN.

Course Numbering

  • 001-099: Remedial or subcollegiate division
  • 100-299: Lower division (freshman or sophomore)
  • 300-499: Upper division (junior or senior)
  • 500-799: Graduate division
  • 800-899: Extension Credit for Professional Development (EC-PD). Credit for these courses does not apply towards degrees or credentials at CSUN.
  • 900-999: Extension courses offered exclusively through Tseng College. These courses cannot be used toward degrees or credentials at CSUN.

Budget News:
All CSUN self-support programs (including master’s degrees, baccalaureate degree completion, credit certificate programs, and online degrees) offered through CSUN's Tseng College, will remain open for applications and admission for the Spring and Fall 2010 semesters. Winter session and Open University courses also will be available.
