Education is evolving rapidly. Whether participants ultimately seek leadership roles in schools, colleges, universities, government agencies, or other organizations, CSUN's fully online Master of Arts in Educational Administration puts in their hands the knowledge and skills to advance their careers, and to thrive in today's dynamic environment.
Not all online programs are alike. CSUN does not entrust its learning community to commercial providers, and, in fact, was one of the first American universities to offer graduate degrees online. This online program is offered in collaboration with CSUN's Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies of the Michael D. Eisner College of Education.
CSUN's two-year, fully online master's program has been carefully crafted by the same distinguished faculty who teach on campus. Though students complete weekly assignments on their own time, the program is not self-paced. Entering students advance through the program curriculum as a cohort of 20-35 participants, becoming a tightly knit community of peers, sharing experiences and perspectives.
Coursework for the Master's Degree and Preliminary Services Credential is identical. However, candidates pursuing both a master's degree and a Preliminary Services Credential must apply separately - and concurrently - to both California State University, and the Credentials office. Download a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential application on the Credential Office web site, or contact the Credential Office directly at (818) 677-2586.
