Working in close collaboration, the University of North Texas (UNT) School of Library and Information Sciences (SLIS) and California State University, Northridge (CSUN) have created a special greater L.A. regionally focused cohort of the UNT Masters Degree in Library and Information Sciences. This special program will admit a group of post-baccalaureate working adults (limited to a maximum of 40 students per cohort) who wish to move up in the field of library management or who wish to transition into library and information management. Course work will be online from UNT and on-site on the CSUN campus and will be taught by a team of UNT faculty, CSUN faculty, and distinguished senior library professionals from the greater L.A. and Ventura libraries.
