Winter Term

Overview


The Tseng College administers California State University, Northridge's Winter Term (intersession), which offers academic-credit university classes in a compressed format between the Fall and Spring semesters. Winter Term enrollment is open to CSUN students, prospective students, students from other colleges and universities, and members of the community, so long as they meet course prerequisites. No application process is required for registration.

Winter Term 2014-2015 Dates

Winter Term 2014-2015 has two components, each with different instructional modes, start dates and end dates. Component 1 is for classes that are fully or mostly online; Component 2 is for traditional classes that meet on campus, which may or may not have some online work. When searching for a class, please check the class notes section for a specific description of instructional mode and class meetings.

Component 1 (online) classes remain in session during campus closure for holidays. The CSUN library is available electronically.
NOTE: Non-matriculated (visiting) Winter Term students must register for Component 1 courses no later than December 23 in order to have access to the library’s electronic resources prior to January 2.
