Winter Term
Overview


The Tseng College administers California State University, Northridge’s Winter Term, which offers academic-credit university classes in a compressed format between the Fall and Spring semesters.  Winter Term enrollment is open to CSUN students, prospective students, students from other colleges and universities, and members of the community, so long as they meet course prerequisites.  No application process is required for registration.

Winter Term 2012

Information about Winter Term 2012 remains posted to give students an idea about Winter Term’s structure.

Winter Term 2012 had two separate sessions.  One session took place fully or partly online, and the other session took place on the CSUN campus.

 

Students were able to take a maximum of four units in two separate sessions:  

  • Component 1 – Fully online and “hybrid” courses began Dec. 22, 2011 and ran through Jan. 18, 2012.
  • Component 2 – Face-to-face courses began Jan. 3, 2012 and ended Jan. 20, 2012.

Registration period began:  Oct. 17, 2011

Winter Term 2013

Registration, fee and course information for Winter Term 2013 will be posted as soon as available.  Classes will take place December 2012-January 2013, with registration expected to start mid-October 2012.
