Taxation Program


How to Apply to the Program

To be admitted to the program, prior to May 15, 2008 an applicant must:

  1. Submit a formal online application, which includes a personal statement describing:
    (a) How your professional, academic, or personal background fits well with the M.S. in Taxation program of CSUN;
    (b) How an M.S. in Taxation will assist you advance in your career.
  2. Submit two letters of recommendation from professors or supervisors to CSUN at the address below.
  3. Submit a sealed, official transcript sent directly from each educational institution attended to CSUN at the address below (CSUN transcripts are not required). No copies of transcripts are accepted. Transcripts must be originals. The applicant must contact each college or university attended and request that an official transcript of the applicant’s academic history be sent to:

    Applicants must submit authentic and official transcripts of all previous academic work attempted. Failure to file complete, accurate, and authentic application documents may result in denial of admission, cancellation of academic credit, suspension, or expulsion (Section 41301, Article 1.1, Title V, California Code of Regulations).
  4. Concurrent with the above, send a check made out to California State University, Northridge in the amount of $55 as a nonrefundable application fee to the address above.
