CSUN's Intensive English and University Pathways (IEUP) programs – designed, delivered and administered through the Tseng College – provide the following study options for international English-language learners at all levels.

Intensive English Program (IEP)This year-round, on-campus, academically focused program ensures that visiting students acquire the English-language skills needed for success in undergraduate- or graduate-level degree programs of their choice at CSUN or other American colleges and universities. |
English Language and Cultural ExperienceThis short-term program – typically three weeks long – combines classroom English-language instruction with a wide range of enjoyable activities that enhance and reinforce learning. |
IEP with Conditional AdmissionThrough this program, students can be pre-approved for admission to CSUN or a partnering college or university before meeting the English-language proficiency requirements for admission to these institutions. |
Custom-Designed programDesigned for groups, this program, which is typically three weeks long, can be customized in length and also in content to emphasize areas of special interest. |
Semester at CSUNThis program is designed for students who have met CSUN's English-language proficiency requirements and wish to attend the university for a single semester. |
