Application Deadlines for Fall 2019
All materials must be received in our offices by the following dates.

*Priority Deadline: Applicants who meet this deadline are reviewed first by the committee. They are also first to be considered for open seats in the program.
Please use the steps below and the Application Checklist to complete your application.
Submit the Online Application
In order to submit your online application, you will be required to pay a $55 non-refundable application fee via debit/credit card. To be considered for the ABA program you are only required to complete this application. You do not need to submit a separate application through Cal State Apply.

Please refer to the Application Checklist for detailed instructions for each required document. Online applications submitted without these completed attachments will not be considered for review.
Complete and submit the online application as soon as possible. Doing so will assure that your application is included in the applicant pool and that Admissions is aware of your application and can track additional materials as they arrive.
Note that the online application used for the ABA program is a general application used by all programs in the Tseng College. Some of the questions on the application may not be directly applicable to the ABA program (e.g., questions about transferrable undergraduate units; questions about family income) but are questions required by the state or federal government. Answering these questions with a “Decline to State” response will not negatively impact your application to this program in any way.
Send the following in one package to Tseng College:
All official transcripts must be received at the Tseng College by the application deadline. No exceptions will be made. It will be the responsibility of the student to verify the status update of received application materials.
Send the official transcripts in ONE PACKAGE to the exact address below. Using other CSUN addresses will result in your application not being received at the correct location and can delay the application process thus omitting your application from the pool of complete, on-time applications.
Letters of Recommendation
Please arrange for three strong recent letters of recommendation and recommendation forms (preferably from those who can comment on your clinical/behavioral work or related coursework - no clients, former clients or family) plus a required waiver form to be EMAILED on your behalf.

Recommenders must EMAIL their recommendation packet to firstname.lastname@example.org. (These forms can also be accessed on the application), NO NEED TO SUBMIT TWICE.

If applicable*, arrange for your GRE scores to be sent to CSUN electronically:
* All applicants with a cumulative undergraduate GPA less than 3.00 are required to submit GRE General Exam scores to CSUN in order to be reviewed as an applicant for this program.
An official copy of your GRE scores must be sent directly to CSUN electronically from ETS. CSUN’s school code for receipt of electronic GRE scores is 4707.
Note that GRE scores must be submitted by the application deadline date for your application to be considered for review.
International students and students with international degrees
The following is required of international applicants who did not earn a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution within the United States, regardless of citizenship.

You will receive an email from The Tseng College Office of Admissions, Registration and Client Services (ARC) that contains your CSUN User ID/Username, CSUN email address, and CSUN Student ID. If you do not receive this email please contact email@example.com. If you are a returning student or reapplying, please use your existing CSUN User ID and password. If you are a new applicant or do not have a CSUN student account, use the information provided in the email to activate your access to myNorthridge Portal and your CSUN e-mail account.

Check your CSUN Email Account and MyNorthridge Student Portal Regularly for Official Communication
You are issued a CSUN email account when you apply to the University. Your CSUN email account serves as your official means for University communication. The University will use it for all communications and you are responsible for monitoring this account. All updates on your application status will be sent to your CSUN email account only.
The MyNorthridge Student Portal is CSUN's official web portal for applicant, admitted and current students. It is designed to provide a wealth of campus resources and services in one central location. The portal is where you can find your student schedule, course contents, unofficial transcript, register for classes, update and access personal and academic records. You are encouraged to become familiar with all the functions of your student portal. You are expected to use your student portal regularly at CSUN.
IMPORTANT NOTES TO APPLICANTS: All communications between CSUN staff/faculty and potential or actual applicants to our programs are treated as part of the overall application processes and may be considered in making appropriate admissions decision to any CSUN program. Please note that we are unable to return any application materials to applicants once they are submitted, including letters of recommendation and transcripts.
