Congratulations to the Class of 2019! More than 11,600 CSUN graduates receive their diplomas this month. Students in 138 undergraduate majors and options, 92 master’s programs and two doctorate programs will march in cap and gown May 17-20 at the Oviatt Library Lawn.
That number reflects about a 10 percent increase over CSUN degrees awarded in 2018. And just for historical context, in 1957-58 the California State University system as a whole conferred 11,498 degrees, fewer than CSUN’s total number of graduates this year alone! The CSU’s 23 campuses graduated 125,920 students in 2018, making it California’s greatest producer of bachelor’s degrees. The CSU also awards more than half of all undergraduate degrees received by California’s Latino, African American and Native American students.
Check out the Commencement schedule for the eight academic colleges. And congratulations to everyone!
