Student Success Pathway

This one-year pre-bachelor program provides international students with a pathway into the university. Created for first-time freshmen, the program helps students develop the academic and English-language skills needed to succeed at CSUN. Student Success Pathway gives you eligibility for admission to CSUN, 15 units of transferable academic credits towards graduation, integrated classes with CSUN students, and the ability to enroll in CSUN summer classes.

Programs Offered

To ensure students receive the classes and credits they need, the Student Success Pathways program uses a set curriculum that includes 15 units of transferrable academic credit. The courses provide a strong academic foundation and help students acquire the skills essential to university-level learning. Applications & Admission Requirements

Applicants must satisfy a number of requirements, including a minimum age, minimum grade point average from high school and minimum English proficiency requirement before they can be admitted to the Student Success Pathway program. Cost

Costs of the Student Success Pathway program include tuition, housing and meal plan expenses, as well as program and application fees. The complete cost for tuition, fees and housing/meal plan is approximately $28,000 and is subject to change.

Financial Aid & Scholarships

Unfortunately financial aid and scholarships are not available for CSUN’s Student Success Pathway program.

Housing & Residential Life

On-campus housing for International Programs and Partnerships (IPP) students features convenient, apartment-style accommodations in the same on-campus community with regular university students. Students in on-campus housing become familiar with the campus more quickly, meet other students more easily and take part in the many social and recreational activities organized by both IPP Housing and CSUN housing.

The cost for housing and meal plan is included in the cost of the Student Success Pathway program.
