Test Preparation Course Descriptions

California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)
Prepares students and teachers for the latest version of CBEST. Includes review of essay writing and reading comprehension, with special emphasis on math review.
California Multiple-Subjects Exam for Teachers (CSET)
Prepares elementary education credential candidates with a review of selected multiple subject content areas and strategies for applying prior knowledge to meet requirements in each of the exam subtests.
Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)
Prepares graduate students for the computer adaptive test (CAT) and covers all sections of the exam. Includes skills review, test-taking strategies, and timed practice.
Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
Prepares graduate students for the computer based testing (CBT) format of the GRE General Test, with emphasis on quantitative reasoning, verbal skills, reading, and analytical writing assessment sections.
Law School Admission Test (LSAT)
Prepares students with a review and analysis of each exam section and all question types, including the writing sample. Includes timed-testing practice.
Reading Instruction Competence Assessment (RICA)
Prepares teachers and candidates for the multiple subject and special education teaching credentials for the written reading instruction exam. Focuses on exam elements and testing strategies.
Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)
Prepares high school students for the SAT writing section, college preparatory math topics, and critical reading passages. Includes analysis of question types and testing strategies.
