Registration

Courses offered by The Tseng College fall into three broad areas, and the registration process differs from one to the other:

1. Extended Learning / Noncredit courses, including test preparation and open-enrollment MPA classes
Extended learning classes are self-enrichment and professional development courses offered on a noncredit or Continuing Education Unit (CEU) basis. Course offerings that do not carry any credit or unit value still become part of a student's academic record, but a student's performance in these classes has no effect on his/her overall regular university grade point average. However, grade point average minimums are required for most Certificates in Advanced Professional Development.

Also offered are courses, seminars, workshops and certificate programs to meet professional development and career needs of individuals and professional groups. These 900-level courses are identified with the acronym CEU following the course's unit value. Students in these classes earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs). One CEU equals 10 hours of class participation. CEUs cannot be converted to academic credit units in the California State University system.

2. Extended Learning / Degree, graduate credit certificate, Open University and international programs
Please visit the individual program web site for detailed registration and refund information.
