Methods of Payment
If there are any errors with the selected payment to go through, go to “Return to Payment Information” and correct the information.
Also make sure and print out your completed transaction. It is important to print out this transaction receipt for your own records.
Payment is due upon registration.
Enrollment verification can be viewed online. Go to the CSUN Portal. Scroll down to the College of Extended Learning box, and select the “Student Center” link. Then select the “View my Class Schedule.” This will display a student’s current and past academic history.
Payment verification can be viewed online at the CSUN Portal. Under the College of Extended Learning box, select the “Student Center” link. Under Finances, select the “Student Account Information” link. This will display a student’s current and past financial history.
You should print out a record of your transaction.
The following conditions must be met for your registration to be processed without undue delay:
Personal check, cashier's check or money order can be processed only if the document is:

Overloaded cards and bouncing checks: If your credit card charge is not authorized by the credit card clearing house, all your paperwork will be returned for a different form of payment.
If your check is not honored by your bank, there is a $20 returned check fee, a $25 Administrative Late Fee and you remain enrolled. Bounced checks do not officially withdraw you from class.
Payment for returned checks can only be made with cash or certified funds.
Military / ROTC:
If the military is paying all or part of your Summer Term fees, submit a signed authorization on letterhead stationery or the 1556 form with your registration, along with the amount not covered. The University cannot bill for laboratory, material or late fees. Make sure the authorization clearly indicates the amount being covered, the sponsoring agency to be billed and the signature of your commanding officer or recognized official. We cannot accept deferments with contingency payment provisions.
Vocational rehabilitation:
If you are in a specially funded program for vocational training, your authorization must specify California State University, Northridge Summer Term, the particular session in which you will be registered and the amount of the payment. If your benefits do not cover the full cost, come prepared to pay the outstanding amount at the time of registration. You must pay any laboratory, processing and late fees due. You need to turn in your authorization form at the time you register.
Please note: The campus is closed for holiday observances, May 26, and July 4, 2008.
