Developmental Math

Math 093 Summer Workshops are offered through the CSUN Developmental Mathematics Program and The Tseng College. They are open only to current CSUN students who have been placed at this level by the CSUN Developmental Mathematics Program.

MATH 093: Developmental Mathematics II

Subject and Catalog Number XMTH 993

Prerequisite

Open only to current CSUN students who received a score between 34 and 48 on the Entry Level Mathematics (ELM) test or who have already received credit for Math 92. Satisfactory completion of this workshop will qualify for entrance into Mathematics 131, 140, or 210, and conditionally into Mathematics 102 and 103. It also satisfies the ELM requirement.

This class reviews elementary algebra topics – equations and inequalities, polynomials, factoring, rational expressions, graphing, radical expressions, quadratic equations and functions.

No class meeting on July 4 (Independence Day Holiday).

Enrollment for the Summer Workshops is restricted to eligible CSUN students. Please contact the Developmental Mathematics Program for permission to register.

Withdrawals and Refunds

Information about withdrawals and refunds will be available in Spring 2013.

Grading and credit

The Summer Workshops are offered for Credit/No Credit only and will not count toward a bachelor degree at CSUN.

Tutoring

Tutoring is available Monday through Friday for 30 minutes after the end of class.
