The certificate program in business administration that is offered by CSUN’s College of Business and Economics in collaboration with The Tseng College has been renamed. Originally the Fundamentals of Business Administration certificate, the program is now called the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration. This program allows those who have already earned baccalaureate or advanced degrees in fields other than business to acquire the knowledge needed for success in the business world. Successful completion of the GCBA program also satisfies the requirement for foundational courses for CSUN’s Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. The next GCBA cohort starts in Fall 2008. The application deadline is July 1. For information, contact program director Jennifer Kalfsbeek at (818) 677-8365 or Jennifer.kalfsbeek@csun.edu.
Note: A special version of the GCBA program has been designed for those for whom English is not a first language and whose TOEFL or IELTS score is below the required minimum for admission to graduate study at CSUN. The International GCBA program offers English-language instruction and preparation for graduate study at an American university in addition to the regular business administration certificate coursework.
