Last Chance! FREE Seminar on Lean Operations Fundamentals

Coming Feb. 6: FREE Seminar for Law Enforcement Professionals

The Tseng College and the Center for Human Relations in the College of Arts, Media and Communication are hosting a seminar on leadership, communication and conflict management for police chiefs, law enforcement training directors and community leaders. The event will be held on campus from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Weds., Feb. 6. Lunch will be served. If you are a law enforcement professional or community leader, please call (818) 677-7131 by Jan. 25 to reserve your place.

Dr. Karen Jones Howard Green Retires

After more than 40 years in the fields of speech pathology and education, Karen Green, Ed.D., has retired. Dr. Green has served as program coordinator for CSUN's innovative distance-education master's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology – offered by The Tseng College in collaboration with the Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences – since its inception in 1999. She has received many awards for her work, including CSUN's Don Dorsey Award for Mentoring Excellence and five Awards for Continuing Education from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). On behalf of The Tseng College and the graduates of the online CDS program, the Insider wishes Dr. Green a most fulfilling and productive retirement.


Campus and Tseng College Closures

Friday, Feb. 1, is a "professional development day" for Tseng College staff members. All Extended Learning offices will be closed that day, but classes offered by and through The Tseng College will meet as usual.
