You are invited to join CSUN in celebrating Constitution Day on Saturday, September 15. This free event will feature a Continental breakfast and panel discussion on the Constitution and American identity. The panelists are CSUN professors James Sefton, Ph.D. (history) and Christopher Shortell, Ph.D. (political science).
The celebration will be held in the Sierra Center, with breakfast at 8:30 and the discussion starting at 9. While the event is free of charge, reservations are required. To reserve your place, please call The Tseng College at (818) 677-7131 by Sept. 7.
The bookstore itself has been completely redesigned to feature a more open layout, computer plug-ins and an area for study and reading. The complex will also feature three new food services – El Pollo Loco, Juice It Up and Panda Express – as well as the continuing Burger King, Freudian Sip, and The Edge convenience store. While some of these facilities are now open on a limited schedule, all will be open and observing regular hours on August 20.
Note: A Grand Opening Celebration for the renovated complex is scheduled for Sept. 20. Look for details in the Sept. 15 Insider.
