Now Being Accepted: Applications for Fall MPA and PSM Cohorts

A new Master of Public Administration cohort* will be starting at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works facility in Alhambra in September. A second Public Sector Management bachelor's degree-completion program cohort at the same location will be starting this fall as well. Applications for both programs are now being accepted. For information on the MPA program, contact Yolanda Pujol at (818) 677-3217 or yolanda.pujol@csun.edu. For information on Public Sector Management, contact Pat Lyon at (818) 677-7763 or patricia.lyon@csun.edu.

* Cohort participants enter and proceed through the program as a group. This format facilitates learning because each course builds on those that preceded. It also gives participants a strong support network of faculty and fellow students who come to know one another well.

Fourth Online CDS Program Cohort Graduates

On May 31, 32 students will graduate from the online Speech-Language Pathology master's degree program offered by CSUN's department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CDS) in collaboration with ExL. Cohort #4 has the program's largest graduating class to date and also the largest number of participants (10) from states other than California (10!). Since 2002, a total of 100 students – 15 residents of other states – have successfully completed this distance-learning program. CDS expects approximately 20 students to attend the graduation, many of whom will be meeting each other face-to-face for the first time after three years of online communication. Congratulations to all!
