CSUN now has a walk-in computer support center dedicated to helping students connect to the campus wireless network, access campus e-mail, set up e-mail forwarding, reset passwords, and get answers to questions about campus information technologies. The support center is located in the Garden Level of the Oviatt Library. The schedule of classes for Summer 2006 will be available online on Feb. 27. The printed schedule of classes will be available on campus on March 20.
Industry leaders will discuss how knowledge management practices affect organizations in the 21st century at "The Southern California Knowledge Management Forum and Breakfast" to be held on campus from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, March 17. Designed to acquaint anyone who is interested with the growing field of knowledge management, this FREE event is hosted by The Tseng College. Never get lost looking for your on-campus Tseng College class again. At the bottom of the online course description, simply click on the location link to access a map showing a broken red circle around the building in which your class is held. You can print the map and carry it with you, too.
In response to a community request to reduce campus traffic through the residential neighborhood north of Halstead St., Etiwanda Ave. has been closed to through traffic at Halstead. This road closure is permanent. Drivers who wish to access the campus from Reseda Blvd. may use (from north to south) Plummer, Vincennes, Prairie or Nordhoff Streets. (View campus map here.)
CSUN's new bachelor's degree-completion program in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Management for working adults starts at Glendale College on Aug. 30. This is a 52-unit program that has been specially designed to be convenient and easily accessible for working professionals. It takes only two years to complete. Presentations for prospective students will be held at Glendale College on May 9 and June 8 from 4 to 6 p.m. The university's Business Administration academic advisor and The Tseng College's program director will be on hand to answer questions and provide assistance with the application process.
