Fees and Refunds

General On-Campus MPA Program Fees

University Application Fee: $55
Course Fees (excluding books and supplies):
11 Three-Unit Courses ($333 per unit): $999 x 11
MPA 697S: $1095
Graduation Application Fee: $47
Total Cost: $12,084.00

MPA 699 (Independent Study) and Tutorial class will cost $365 per unit.

Cohort Fees

Fees for the MPA cohort program differ for various sites. For information, please send email to the program office.

Note: The Master of Public Administration cohort program is a special session degree program sponsored by The Tseng College and has a fee schedule different from regular University master's classes.

Refunds

Refunds are not provided to cohort students after the start of the first class of each term even if other classes in that term have not yet begun. Exceptions may be made for medical or other emergency situations. Contact the program director for further information.

Temporary Disruption of Attendance

If, for compelling reasons, a student finds it necessary to miss either a complete course or a significant number of classes, s(he) must consult with the director of Public Sector Programs, Dr. Henrik Minassians, as soon as the student is aware that classes or courses will be missed.

Every attempt will be made to see that the student is able to make up classes and continue with the cohort as soon as his/her circumstances have been resolved.

Payment of Fees

Payment can be made at The Tseng College Client Services Department in the CSUN Bookstore Complex. Payments may be made by cash, check, money order, cashier's check, Visa or MasterCard, or online via the CSUN Portal with Visa or MasterCard.
