MCR 901: Fundamental Mediation Skills and Techniques, meets for eight, weekly sessions at the CSUN campus throughout the 17-week term, from 6 pm – 10 pm. Some online assignments will also be assigned, to be completed outside the regular course meeting times.
MCR 902: Mediation Practicum* serves as the practical experience portion of the program; practicum sessions are scheduled with selected practicum providers and are held on-site at the practicum locations. Students can complete their practicum hours (24 hours total) any time during weeks 3 – 16 of the program. Online writing assignments detailing the practicum experience will also be assigned.
Practicum sessions will typically be scheduled with providers during regular office hours: 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
MCR 909: Diversity & Cross-Cultural Communications for Conflict Resolution meets online periodically during weeks 3-17. Students will learn to use online learning tools during the program orientation on Thursday, August 27.
