Instructional
Design & Adult Development Distance Learning Program No-Refund
Policy
The IDAD Distance Program is supported entirely by student
tuition and receives no funding from the State of California.
Each cohort has to be fully budgeted for the entire year of
the program in order to ensure that all students have the
opportunity to graduate on schedule with the latest updates
to the courses. IDAD receives applications from far more eligible
students than we are able to admit. If a student drops out
of the program, they cannot be replaced in that cohort and
the remaining unpaid tuition cannot be recovered. Nonetheless,
the IDAD program is ethically bound to continue to teach the
complete one year program to continuing students in all cohort
groups, regardless of the financial burdens that might result
from students who drop out prior to completion. For these
reasons, the program cannot honor requests for refunds of
tuition after the term begins. |
