- Sheila M. Brown-Walker, MBA
- Sheila M. Brown Walker, MBA, is a consultant, educator and author with more than 20 years of experience in human resources. As principal of HR on Demand, she provides executive-level HR management consulting services to clients in many fields. Walker has also taught a variety of business and HR management courses and is a part-time lecturer on management and interdisciplinary business for CSUN’s College of Business and Economics. Walker earned her master’s degree in business administration from the University of La Verne. An active member of the Society for Human Resources Management, Professionals in Human Resources Association, Allied Academies, and the International Academy for Case Studies, she is also co-author of a business law textbook and numerous journal articles.

- Kalyan S. Chakravarty has worked in the field of Organizational Behavior and Human Resources Management for over three decades. He was the youngest professional in the history of the Warner-Lambert Co., India to have risen to the level of Regional Director-Human Resources, South East Asia / India Region. He is also the proud recipient of R. N. Bangur Memorial All India Award for significant contributions in the field of business management and human resources development. With over three decades of relevant corporate experience at the top levels in human resource management in diverse industry sectors, he gained substantial international experience both in teaching and consulting with a host of globally respected companies like Siemens, J&J, GSK, Unilever et al. Chakravarty is widely known and respected for his professional integrity and commitment in the design, development and successful implementation of a number of HR subsystems for the total management of human resources in large multinational companies and Indian Houses of repute.
- Harriet L. Cohen, M.A.
- Harriet L. Cohen is the founder of Training Solutions, a consulting firm dedicated to performance improvement. The firm partners with internal clients to work on team dynamics, performance management, strategic planning, employee retention, succession planning, marketing and quality improvement. A past president of the Los Angeles chapter of the American Society for Training and Development, Cohen is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and has received numerous awards for her contributions to the human resources field. She received her master's degree in education from Boston State College.
- Robert Dickerson
- Robert Dickerson, customer service manager, Liberty Mutual Insurance, has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. His background includes claims adjustment, claims training supervision, claims examination, regional claims management and sales. Dickerson earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of North Dakota and holds a self-insurance certificate. He is a founder and past president of the Claims Executive Council. Dickerson has taught at the College of Extended Education at California State University, Dominguez Hills, as well as at The Tseng College.
- Todd H. Ferguson SPHR
- Todd Ferguson has more than 30 years of experience in the fields of business and human resources. Initially growing up in the financial services field he won awards for the most creative financing arrangements from the Western Association of Equipment Lessors (WAEL) and was chosen to work on labor board disputes and then directly with Department of Corporations regulators on a work-out solution to save one financial institution. His success in hiring, training, implementing a new leasing division, and managing many offices launched his career in human resources through training and employee relations. In 1987 he founded PHE Consulting, an HR and business management and training company. His extensive experience in both making profit for companies and effectively handling all aspects of HR led to his teaching business and HR courses, not only for CSUN, but also the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FiDM), The Master’s College, College of the Canyons, and Professionals In Human Resources (PIHRA) teaching everything from Entrepreneurship and Team Management to Police Officer Standards Training and the PHR/SPHR Certification Test Preparation. He has served on the boards of PIHRA, SHRM and several for-profit and not-for-profit companies. Graduating with honors from USC where he studied Public Administration, Economics and Police Science he is now continuing his education in both the business and healthcare fields and has ventured back into the business world with the successful launch of a toy distribution company.
- Kari Fletcher, M.A.
- Kari (pronounced Car-ee) Fletcher, M.A. in International & Intercultural Management, is an organizational consultant, educator (higher education, community education and K-12), and community organizer. She has played an integral role in the development and management of numerous non-profit businesses in the United States, and has provided training and consultation in areas of human resource management, strategic planning, board development, and organizational sustainability to diverse groups, including grassroots networks of refugees and immigrants. Additionally, Kari had extensive training and experience in mediation and conflict resolution, and has developed a management training manual to provide guidance in the areas of building teamwork and consensus, and working toward the models of learning organizations. She has lived and worked in China, the United Kingdom, Spain and the United States, in both rural and urban settings, providing her with a unique understanding of multicultural perspectives. She also has experience working with Unions and complex negotiations.
- Linda Harris, Partner and President, JorgensenHR Consulting
- Linda Harris has over 25 years experience in human resources management. Her areas of expertise include employee relations, employer compliance, compensation, recruitment, benefits, training, and HRIS, and she has considerable experience working in the Financial, Mortgage Banking, Healthcare, and Manufacturing and Distribution industries. - Rick J. Isaac is principal and founder of HR ChangeWorks, a firm specializing in organizational assessments, change management, leadership training and human resource management. He has more than 20 years of experience as a consultant, human resource executive, trainer and instructional designer. Isaac has been the recipient of the AAA Five Diamond Award, the Nissan Facilitator of the Year award, and an award for instructional design from the International Society for Performance Improvement. He earned both his master's degree in speech communications and his bachelor's degree in psychology from California State University, Northridge.
- Wayne P. Schulman, J.D., M.A.
- Wayne Schulman is an Attorney at Law and 1st Vice President, Corporate Counsel for Lockheed Federal Credit Union. He has worked in Human Resources Management since 1982, primarily in the banking, insurance, and finance industries. His specializations include labor and union relations, employee relations, leadership and ethics, and legal aspects of Human Resources Management. He has been admitted to the State Bar of California as well as the U.S. District Court and the U.S. Supreme Court. Schulman earned his juris doctor degree from the University of West Los Angeles and his master's degree in Speech Communication from California State University, Northridge, where he was awarded a teaching fellowship. He is a graduate of the Stanford Graduate School of Management Executive Program and earned the Certified Benefits Professional Designation. His extensive teaching career includes instructing at the UCLA Extension, College of the Canyons, and the SHRM Certification program.

- John Spurlock has more than 20 years of senior-level human resources experience in both the consulting and private sectors. His work experience includes serving as an H.R. consultant to Fortune 500 companies in the healthcare, hospitality and travel industries. Spurlock is currently national director of recruiting, training and employee development for Pinnacle One, and also operates J Spurlock and Associates, a management consulting firm. He earned his M.A. degree from the University of Sydney, Australia, and his MBA from the University of La Verne. Spurlock also has completed postgraduate studies at the University of Tennessee School of Law and UCLA.

- Donna D. Thorne is founder and executive director of Global Consulting Solutions. She has more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of human resources, including international compensation and benefits, mergers and acquisitions, cultural integrations, organizational development, and strategic human capital design for a wide range of industries. Thorne is on the faculty for the benefits advisory board of WorldatWork (formerly the American Compensation Association) and has taught compensation for the Conference Board, HR.com Employers of Excellence and the United Nations Development Programme. She is also a member of the WorldatWork benefits advisory board and serves on the international compensation committee of the National Foreign Trade Council. Thorne holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University, a certificate in employee relations law from the Institute for Applied Management and Law, and the Certified Compensation Professional designation from WorldatWork.
