Advisement
Academic advisement is available before and during your course of study through the program advisor. You may contact the advisor by phone, via email, or during orientation meetings.
Because each program is unique, information may differ slightly from program to program. Check the individual Web site of the program in which you're interested. There you'll find guidelines and contact information.
Further academic advisement services are available in the following areas for regular CSUN students:
- Students with a declared major: For information about General Education requirements, major advising and academic policies, contact the department of your major;
- Undecided students: Students who have not declared a major should go to the Advising Resource Center/EOP, located in Bayramian Hall;
- EOP and Equity Students: Contact the Equity Center in the College of your major (or the Advising Resource Center/EOP if you are Undeclared);
- Teaching credential candidates seeking advisement should contact the Credential Preparation Office for an appointment or further information at (818) 677-2586.
