Intensive English Program
Apply for a Semester at CSUN
Students applying for the Semester at CSUN Study Program must submit proof of completion of secondary school (high school), as well as evidence of acceptable English proficiency. English proficiency can be demonstrated by providing a 61 on Internet-based TOEFL score (173 on computer-based TOEFL, 500 on paper-based TOEFL).
IEP Application Form
Print and complete the IEP application form. The form may be filled out by the student or by a representative of the student. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
$100 Application Fee
This nonrefundable fee is required for all programs. Payments can be made by traveler's checks or funds drawn on a U.S. bank (no international money orders). Please make checks payable to CSUN.
Full Semester at CSUN Study Program Tuition
This nonrefundable fee can be paid by traveler's checks or funds drawn on a U.S. bank (no international money orders.) Please make checks payable to CSUN. * The fee is refundable only if the student is unable to obtain an F-1 visa for entrance into the U.S. Please contact the IEP office for detailed information.
Evidence of Financial Support
Students requesting documents for the student visa must submit original or certified copies of financial documents endorsed by a bank official, verifying a minimum of US$11,500 funds available for the student's study.

Acceptance to the IEP
Confirmation of acceptance is sent approximately one week after the completed application has been received. The acceptance packet will contain calendars, maps, and other orientation materials to help you become familiar with Cal State Northridge before you arrive. If you have requested documents for a student visa, they will be included in the acceptance packet.
